Description: This machine is made of lightweight metal, painted green. It is designed as a case; the front opens forward to reveal the black metal keys. There are six keys and a spacing bar. It embosses onto a roll of paper tape that is inserted into the back of the machine. On the top is "Blindenstudienanstalt Blista Marburg-Lahn-Germany." Inside the front cover, in raised letters, is "Deutsche Blindenstudienanstalt, D-3550, West Germany." On the bottom, in raised letters, is "Blindenstudienanstalt, Marburg, Germany" and the serial number "39412." There is an accompanying braille manual of operating instructions.
