Description: Engraving is printed on a disbound and trimmed page and shows students from the Royal Normal College for the Blind on two Rudges (tandem-style cycles), on their way to the opening of a gymnasium. In parentheses beneath the caption: "The steerer of each machine could see." Also, "Swinging round a curve" appears handwritten at bottom right corner.
