Scope & Content: Video prepared by the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired in 1995 honoring the life of Hall-of-Famer Dr. Berthold Lowenfeld (1991-1994). The video pieces together various photographic stills, audio, video, and film clips including a black and white film from the 1970s with Phil Hatlen interviewing Lowenfeld in a classroom surrounded by Georgie Lee Abel, Kathern Gruber, and Nancy Akeson; a color video of Lowenfeld sitting with Hatlen and Pete Wurzburger in California in 1988; Lowenfeld sitting in front of a classroom in 1986; Lowenfeld, Hatlen, and an interviewer in a living room in California in July 1990 (see 2018.17.23 for the full interview); and a 1987 interview featuring Lowenfeld, Abel, and Josephine Taylor at the same table.
