Administrative History: The Berks County Association for the Blind was established in 1929 in Reading, Pennsylvania by the Reading Lions Club, as a branch of the Pennsylvania Association for the Blind, to provide vocational, rehabilitative and social services to blind and visually impaired residents of Berks County. The non-profit organization was incorporated in 1943.
