Scope & Content: One audiocassette recording of an APH event that included a recognition of APH retirees Finis E. Davis, former Vice President and General Manager; Marjorie Hooper, former Braille Editor; and Virgil Zickel, former Plant Manager; and a preview showing of a newly developed slide/cassette program about the history of APH and the 1879 Act. Program speakers on the tape are Carson Y. Nolan, President of APH; Marjorie Hooper; and J. Max Woolly, Superintendent of the Arkansas School for the Blind. Event was held during the 1979 APH Annual Meeting, at the Stouffer's Louisville Inn, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Handwritten on cassette label: "APH - 100th Anniversary of the Act 1879, 10-29-79, #1a."
