Scope & Content: Primarily letters and correspondence between members of the APH Board of Trustees and the American Printing House for the Blind. The bulk of the correspondence is between Board members and Finis E. Davis, APH Superintendent from 1947-1976. Topics covered include elections, resignations, and deaths of Board members; scheduling of Board meetings; production of talking books, large type, and braille; fundraising; federal appropriations; use of an IBM computer in braille production; and APH building plans. Also, includes some newspaper clippings and articles, inter-office memos, two portrait photos of Charles Bottorff (which are filed in the museum's photographs collection), and William C. Dabney's Newcomen Address: "American Printing House for the Blind, Inc., (1858-1960): A Century of Service to the Blind." The files in this collection are for the following trustees: Charles W.
