Description: Rectangular solid wood plaque is painted black and has wood grain finish on front with a black plastic plate, over a brass plate, that is engraved: "American Optometric Association, Low Vision Section, Distinguished Service Award presented to Natalie Barraga Ed.D., June 17, 1984, for contributions to the improvement of low vision care and for sincere concern and distinguished dedication to the visual welfare of the general public, William V. Padula, O.D., Chairman, L.V.S." The AOA logo appears at top left, and another AOA logo with a magnifying glass appears at bottom left. A gold foil maker's label and two slots for hanging are on reverse.
