Description: Portable electric phonograph with built in radio has a 12-inch turntable with brown "flocked" covering. Plays phonograph records (rigid discs) at 33 1/3 rpm. Features a hinged lid with built in speaker; variable speed and pitch controls; hinged metal container, approx. 1 1/2 in. (diameter), located at the left corner behind the turntable to hold steel phonograph needles (18 are in the container); a front panel that opens to reveal radio controls with braille on tuning dial; and a leather handle on right side. "Model AC-12, serial no. 1611, for operation on 60 cycles, 110 volts A.C., American Foundation for Blind, New York, N.Y." --metal label located behind turntable.
