Summary/Description: The first half of the epic poem about Aeneas. Title from page 1. Perkins School for the Blind book plate on pastedown endpaper. Burgundy clothbound boards with tan cloth at corners and spine; signatures are wire stitched (stapled) and separated by spacers; textblock was glued in; printed title label on spine is covered with tape and barely visible.

History/Provenance: The donor received the book in the mid-1970s from the Perkins School for the Blind. His Latin teacher at Perkins, Molly Cambridge, had used the book in both high school and college. She retired from the school in 1974 and had attended the school as a student from 1917-1924.
