Black-and-white glossy; a women is in front of stereotype machine with both of her hands on the keys; she is embossing a metal plate, and the metal plate is in the frame; on her left side, there is easel with printed version of what she is transcribing; in the foreground, partially in the photo to the left, there is a embossing correction tools. On the back, stamped in purple ink "Photography by Courier-Journal and Louisville Times Not to be published without authority and credit."
