Description: Bright nickel plated brass; rectangular with slightly rounded corners; piano hinge connects upper and lower frames; both frames have grid of four (4) lines of forty-one (41) braille cells, windows slightly indented to guide stylus placement; rounded post on bottom of top frame snaps into hole in lower frame; two additional rounded posts on bottom; no registration pins; stamped on right side of top frame, "MADE BY/COOPER ENG. & MFG. CO./CHICAGO, ILL. U.S.A."
