Administrative History: For several years, the American Printing House for the Blind (APH) had a contract to supply the molded plastic (polyolefin) cassette containers for the Talking Book program of the National Library Service for the Blind and Visually Impaired (NLS). Manufacture of the containers was subcontracted out by APH to outside vendors specializing in injection molding, and APH worked with NLS to refine the technical drawing used by molders in creating new tooling for the injection mold. The finished containers could hold up to four audiocassettes.
