Description: James DeLotel earned his B.A. in English from Indiana University. A trained singer, Jim performed in over seventy productions with the Kentucky Opera beginning in 1962. He started at APH in 1978, recording over 350 book titles, including Ben-Hur, Brave New World, The Little Prince, and numerous biographies. As an in-house narrator in later years, he also worked on magazines and special products, including video tutorials. James DeLotel received the Alexander Scourby Award from the American Foundation for the Blind in 2000.
