Description: The braille writer has six hardwood keys, and a trapezoidal nickel plated space bar extending forward in the middle; black enameled cast steel chassis; nickel plated steel hardware and fittings; "Made in Germany" is stamped beneath the keys; plate attached to the front is lithographed, "Bruno Herde und Friedrich Wendt, Berlin SW19 Generalvertrieb: Reichsdeutscher Blindenverband e V. Berlin, Abt. Zentral fur Blindenhilfsmittel"; writer attached to bottom of wooden case and surrounded by black wool pads; the lid to the case is removable and has two sections; instructions are printed on the lid in German; serial no. 30255.
