Canes, Dogs, and Echolocation

In Town

Adults, Children, Students

Participatory Presentation
For all ages

How do people who are blind get from place to place? With canes, they don’t need a person to guide them. (Try it yourself!) With echolocation, they interact with their environment to find out what’s there. (You can do it too!) And with dogs, they have a friend or life as well as a highly trained and competent mobility aide. Free to the public but registration is required. Call 899-2365 by September 9 to register or follow the link below.
